Ibraheem Mansouri

Dr Ibraheem Almansouri is Senior Director of Engineering at Masdar, a global clean energy leader. In this role, he oversees technical support for Business Development and Investment, Bidding, Project Delivery, Portfolio Management, and Special Projects & Distributed Generation. He was previously a senior member of the Business
Development bidding team, with responsibility for various projects in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Dr Almansouri has extensive experience in academia and research, including a wide range of strategic and commercial exposure and practical experience. Dr Almansouri is the recipient of several regional and global awards, including the Emirates Energy Award (2014-2015 cycle) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Myron Zucker
Industry Applications Award (2008). He is an active member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Academy of Scientists.
Dr Almansouri holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD, a PhD in Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering from Australia’s University of New South Wales, a Master of Laws – LLM in International Business Law from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University, a MSc in Renewable Energy Management from the University of Freiburg in Germany, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the American University of Sharjah.

He completed his master thesis at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy SystemsISE and his PhD under the Masdar Research Network initiative.
