Ibrahim Arekat
Solar PV & Energy Storage Engineer Emerge
Ibrahim Arekat is a Solar PV & Energy Storage Engineer with experience across the full design cycle of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and microgrid hybrid energy projects. Having conducted feasibility assessments, detailed costing, and technical design for over 100 MW of solar PV and BESS-integrated systems—spanning rooftop, ground-mount, and carport arrays, with a focus is of maximizing the technical and financial performance of co-located assets.
At the intersection of engineering design and project finance, Ibrahim has developed advanced, data-driven techno-economic models to optimize PV and BESS sizing. By incorporating high-fidelity battery physics, their work balances curtailment risk against asset degradation to achieve minimum project LCOE whilst maintaining high reliability.
