Musaab Osman

Musaab Osman is an astute Energy professional with over 25 years of experience in Energy PPA projects, Power Transmissions, Oil & Gas, Distributed generation & Energy efficiency sectors with well-known international Firms like GE, Alstom, ABB, McDermott & Petrofac & ACWA Power (Noor Energy 1, the world’s largest CSP/PV hybrid plant at MBR Solar Park).

He is deeply committed to Africa’s energy future, spearheading feasibility studies, engineering design, and financing models for major initiatives including the 70 MW solar project in Sudan, the 200 MW PV power plant in Chad, and a shortlisted 100 MW IPP in Tanzania.

Holding MSc in Energy from Heriot Watt University with a focus on microgrids for rural electrification and B.Sc. Electrical Engineering from Sudan University of Science and Technology, Musaab combines technical depth with commercial strategy. At Global South Utilities, he continues championing solutions that accelerate the energy transition across the Global South.
