Nilesh Deshpande is a seasoned sustainability leader with over 18 years of experience advancing cost-effective sustainable design, energy and carbon management, decarbonization, and net-zero strategies across the Middle East and India. As Associate Director of Sustainability at AESG, he leads multidisciplinary teams delivering high-performance, low-carbon solutions for some of the region’s most ambitious mega and giga developments.

An accredited Certified Energy Manager (AEE), LEED AP (USGBC), and ISO 14064-1/2 GHG Lead Verifier, Nilesh has deep technical expertise in energy modeling, climate resilience, and ESG integration. His work spans sectors from retail, residential, and hospitality to large-scale masterplans and infrastructure, combining engineering precision with strategic sustainability leadership.
