
Zineb Tahiri
With over 12 years of experience, Zineb is passionate about execution, change and transformation, all of which have been a key part of her career, characterized by a number of pivots across adiverse range of functions in engineering, project management and consultancy services. Her early years in engineering in the mining and chemicals industry, within JACOBS ENGINEERING have given her a strong background in leading cross functional and geographically dispersed teams and in delivering excellence in execution. With a passion for operational performance and people development, Zineb was then head of engineering in the challenging environment of SAFIEC, a coal-fired power plant, covering up to 25% of Moroccan electricity demand.
Later on and willing to be an active actor in accelerating the delivery of affordable and clean energy around the world, Zineb took on new responsibilities as Operation Manager in Green of Africa Development, overseeing successfully renewables projects from the development stage till completion and operation. Her technical, organizational and interpersonal skills led her then to manage a strategic mission to define the roadmap of energy transition and set investment priorities, for OCP Group, one of the world’s largest custodian and supplier of phosphate-based fertilizers. In 2020, Zineb joined ENGIE, managing technical aspects in desalination and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects development, showcasing her ability to embrace responsibility, collaborate and leverage diverse perspectives and expertise to achieve common goals. Zineb holds a Master of Engineering from Ecole Mohammadia d’Ingenieurs (Morocco) and she is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration.
