Zineb Tahiri

Zineb, brings more than 14 years of experience leading execution, transformation, and innovation across the energy sector. She began her career with Jacobs Engineering, building expertise in complex mining projects while managing global, cross-functional teams, before taking on the role of Head of Engineering at power plants in Morocco.

Driven by her passion for clean and affordable energy, Zineb transitioned into renewables with Green of Africa Development, where she successfully oversaw solar and wind projects from development through to operation. She later shaped the energy transition roadmap for OCP Group, one of the world’s largest fertilizer producers, setting
investment priorities for a more sustainable future.

Since 2020, Zineb has been with ENGIE, leading the development of desalination, thermal, and Battery Energy Storage System projects — reinforcing her role in shaping how innovative energy solutions translate into strategic, system-level impact across the region.

With a Master of Electrical Engineering and a MBA in strategy and finance, Zineb is
blending deep technical expertise with a bold vision for a sustainable futur
